About painting the first Koloride bicycles.
In our search, we reached the edge of the park forest... This is where the roller most often nests. A bird that is no longer seen in Poland and is listed in the Red Book, which enchanted us with its colorful plumage and became a direct inspiration for choosing the colors of the first Koloride models.
How did all this happen?
Sebastian is a forester, and "Atlas of Birds" is one of the classics in our home library. One day, when we were working with graphic designer Joanna on the visual identification of Koloride, we started browsing through it and came across this beauty, or rather a beauty. In short: nature inspires us both to gravel and to paint.
Common roller
delights with its dominant turquoise intertwined with purple and navy blue, as well as its red back that wonderfully tints with gold. We translated this delight into painting frame number 1 - Kraska Blue.
Oriental roller
It's a brilliant combination of intense sapphire with amazing greens and blues, as well as orange shimmering in the sun. For us, it became a template for frame number 2 - Kraska Orange.
Lilac-breasted roller
is a wonderful mix of the above two color ranges, enriched with a characteristic lilac ruffle. Frame number 3 is therefore an attempt to reflect these colors. Blueish notes with green, lily and shimmering yellow - get to know the Kraska Lila painting.

A timeless design that is totally up to date.
Finally, a few words about design. In Koloride, we used slim, thin tubes and a frame that flattens slightly from the head tube to the seat tube. We do not hide the fact that we really like this lightness and slimness.
