Small, but happy.
For an adventurous cyclist, mounting brackets are one of the most important things. Today we will tell you about them in the context of preparations for a bikepacking holiday in the saddle.
Mounting brackets – it is important that they are present.
We admit that we are not fans of backpacks while driving. However, we want the bike to accompany you in many situations, including on expeditions. That's why we offer as standard a maximum number of mounting screws that allow you to attach mudguards, a rear and front rack, a toolbox, three water bottles, panniers or bikepacking bags, and a kickstand.
For shorter trips
you will need: a water bottle holder, the so-called a half-fin that can be mounted with screws and a frame bag mounted with Velcro or screws on the upper tube at the steering head. It is always possible to attach a practical, detachable sadle bag - a small toolbox that is worth having with you for every occasion.
For longer trips
there are more mounting variants. Water bottles can be mounted in classic baskets on the frame, but also under the frame. A trunk with panniers, a large saddle bag, a large fin for the entire frame, if you want to conquer the world or mix them into any constellation. Either way, there will definitely be a place for a hammock.
In Colorado, installation is possible:
- tool room – a small saddle bag under the saddle. Quickly unfastened and you can take it with you;
- handle bag - mounted on the handlebar;
- triangles, tubes or fins on the frame near the steering head for a small, handy toolbox, phone holder, etc.;
- triangles, tubes, half a fin under the tube.
- medium and large capacity saddle bag;
- large handle bag;
- large fins under the frame.
Our offer includes Ortlieb Quick Rack alu black rear rack and Ortlieb Rack 3 QL3 rear rack. Plus Ortlieb bags.

Remember to be guided primarily by your own needs and preferences in this sea of possibilities. Fortunately, they can change, and the Koloride bike will always keep up with them.
