Bikesizing Koloride - how to choose the frame size so that the bike fits like a glove
Choosing the right frame size is the foundation of comfort, efficiency and driving pleasure. Before you choose a model, good bikesizing will allow you to assess which Koloride size will be perfect - before you even sit in the saddle.
What measurements are key?
For initial bikesizing, three simple measurements are enough, which you can do at home:
- measured without shoes
- – best measured with a book against the wall
- – useful for selecting the width of the handlebar
Thanks to this data, you will select both and, which will significantly increase comfort from the first ride.
Full Koloride sizes – from XS to XL
Bikes - both titanium and carbon - are available in a full range of sizes, so every cyclist can find the perfect fit regardless of height and body proportions.
You will find each model on the Koloride home page and in the configurator. When comparing your dimensions with the specifications, three parameters are most important:
These three details help you quickly narrow down your size selection (XS-XL) and give you a very good starting point. Next, you should look atthe structure and capabilities of your body (ranges), as well as your driving style and the most frequently chosen roads.

What else should you consider when bikesizing?
Growth is just a starting point. Matching the bike to your body and riding style also requires taking into account other factors:
- - affects the preferred reach
size – Longer torso → a longer frame will work better
– Shorter torso → compact geometry will be comfortable - – MTB / gravel / road have different geometries
– Recreational riding → shorter reach, higher stack (upright position)
– Sports riding → longer reach, lower stack (dynamic position) - – Longer legs → 175 mm usually works better
– Shorter legs → comfortable 170 mm - – Especially important in gravel bikes - for safe handling on descents and corners
- – Minimum 2-4 cm of play in gravel models
– Greater margin for MTB - – Helps you choose the right saddle width - crucial for comfort on long routes
Bikesizing alone or with an expert?
You can do the initial bikesizing yourself - all you need is a tape measure, a book and a Koloride geometry table.
However, it is worth using the services of a professional bikesizer. Thanks to 3D analysis, assessment of mobility and range of motion, the specialist will select:
- ideal frame size,
- optimal position (sporty or comfortable),
- stem length, handlebar width, saddle and cleat positioning.
This will make the bike fit not only to your body dimensions, but to .
